On the way through we stopped at this restaurant, on top of that we were lucky enough to catch the schnitzel day. So we could eat very cheaply and deliciously. There was more than enough and the starter ordered for two was also rich and good. We would go again just to try the Italian specialties. The staff was always friendly and extremely attentive. There is also a pleasant ambience with a cozy atmosphere.

If I want to eat chips with schnitzel, I go to a chip shop. But here the breading is thicker than the schnitzel itself. And schnitzel, fries and salad on a plate, results in a "nice" French salad schnitzel soup. Good Appetite !!

The prices are reasonable. The taste depends on the day. Sometimes salt is sold out. The service is constantly overwhelmed and totally disorganized. It's better on weekdays. Orders placed are sometimes not brought or brought twice. Drinks are adapted to the weather - warm drinks are also served in warm weather. And if you want ice cream with it, you have to order it a few times before it comes.

Friends of mine celebrated their wedding here yesterday. The location is really great, the staff is very friendly and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we had three power failures during the party (lights off, music off). The music and lighting system is permanently installed in the location, the DJ only brought a mixer and laptop. As it turned out, the fuse was blown because the outside lamps (also property of the location) were filled with water by a rain shower. When we addressed this situation, which is really impossible for a wedding celebration, the employee did not want to understand the problem and simply said that it was not bad and that it could happen. Here I have to say an absolute no-go for a wedding location with almost 4 weddings every weekend. As compensation, the employee didn't even want to offer a simple lunch, the behavior really impossible. Especially when you consider what the whole celebration cost. Really a shame ...

I can recommend Schnitzel Day on Tuesdays, very tasty and large portions. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The current corona rules are observed. The staff is very nice and attentive. A nice ambience awaits you, then you can take a walk along the Ruhr, which can be reached on foot in one minute. Clear recommendation !!

The beer garden here is nice - lots of space and surrounded by green. Service is friendly. The food was mediocre. I would come back for beer, it's a good bike ride stop.

Wedding in the winter garden was very nice. The food was really great. Unfortunately it was really hot in the room. The small air conditioning is of course not enough. Staff super attentive and friendly.

A really very nice restaurant and excursion bar. Very nice interior and very spacious outdoor area. Extensive menu with something for every taste and moderate prices. All the meals were plentiful and delicious. Very, very nice, friendly and attentive service. I found that very remarkable, as the restaurant was very well attended. People like to stay longer here and love to come back.

We celebrated our wedding there on August 7th, 2020. Great service and delicious food! The location is amazing! We celebrated in the winter garden, with the adjacent green area the temperatures were easy to bear. If we got married again we would definitely celebrate there! Greetings to the whole team!

Super restaurant with a very nice rural location in the big city. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The food and the drinks were brought very quickly despite special requests and our large group and we all enjoyed it very much. The price was reasonable and absolutely fair. The service, the familiar atmosphere and the food are convincing all along the way. We have already visited many restaurants, but here you immediately feel like making friends. We look forward to the next visit.

The Corona concept has been implemented perfectly here. The staff, present in sufficient numbers, are super attentive and polite. The owners personally look after the well-being of the guests. You can go here, no you should!

Service was friendly, but far from what I normally expect. I had to wait quite a long time for a chicken filet which at the end was raw in the inside. Well I was offered another one, but it all really took too long and wasn't anything special in taste.

This is a large restaurant with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. It is located near the Ruhr river but does not have direct view of the water. They are also an event space. We came on a Monday which is pasta and pizza day. Any such dish for $7.99. Service was good, but the Macaroni Carne dish was only average. A bit bland, the pasta a bit overcooked, but the meat was very tender. The side salad was ok, but nothing special in preparation or presentation. Other items may be better, but I am not tempted to return to find out.
